Hello everyone,
If someone could help me you would be my hero.
I was writing my dissertation and for some reason was using an old corrupted computer. I made a fair amount of work, around 8000 words and then just to be safe I saved the file again in a different location. When i went to open it again, only one file existed and it had been corrupted in some way and now only opens in Word 'Viewer' and only as a series of characters that looks like:

h4 a rX20| W3 !2 \,c(x /?Ӆtθ; 2q+ &] |Vp߮%)UdI}2ڜ qӶ6lOΆ)p? g "7X] U#VC &5,

This is utterly essential work I have lost and I desperately need to know if it still exists on my computer somewhere.

Any help given would be so so much appreciated.
Thank you
Timothy
