To: Turcoloco or anyone who wants to help
i did everything you asked on last round, and this computer has always been on XP

Would it be ok to copy a wuauclt.exe off my other computer from i386 folder, and copy it in to this computers i386 folder (since i accidently deleted it on this computer. both of these computers are a gateway bought about the same time. one is a lap top 1 is a desktop.

Hello, and welcome to GeeksToGo! My name is Kat, and I am an Administrator here. I want to assure you that everyone who gives instructions here is a trained Staff Member. Our Staff go through a rigorous program where we learn to detect and fix various Malwares. Untrained and non Staff Members are never allowed to post advice/instructions/fixes. As a matter of fact, anyone who is not a Staff Member cannot even reply to a post in the Malware forum, as we have a board modification that prevents it.
