Hello,

After reinstalling windows xp on one of my pcs, for some reason, in the middle of the setup, when it reaches the "34 minutes remaining" point, I keep getting the blue screen of death... I tried 5 times already... any tips please? Thank you!

Hey,

thanks for your help, I tried the 34 minute hiccup, then when it says:

" Close the notepad and go to the folder C:/windows/inf in command prompt"

How do i get to that folder? Mine starts with C:/windows/system32

I can see, the slashes on that page are in incorrect direction. There should be backslashes, not forward slashes.
So, you're at:
c:\windows\system32
Type:
cd c:\windows\inf
Press Enter.
You'll be at:
c:\windows\inf
Type:
dir
Press Enter to list all files in "inf" folder.
