Hello,

We recently developed a video Java applet which enables a field staff to upload video files from their PCs to a central server using xvid as the compression mechanism. It works beautifully 95% of the time. The trouble is with some files which actually experience negative compression rates. When working with XXXMB files, this can be a major issue.

The problem comes from various users, including internal ones on a high speed fiber line.

Any ideas on where we can look for the trouble?

Thanks!
