Hi everyone, I just re-installed windows, and since I have a 500GB hard drive, I decided to make C: 100GB and E:400GB.

C has the OS (xp) on it.

I am wondering if I could make all of the program files, desktop files, etc move over to E, since I feel like with all the stuff I am downloading ( and since it all goes automatically to c, ) that the C drive would fill up very fast.

Cliffs: Can I move the program files folder/documents and settings folder from C to E without any bad side effects???

Thanks !

Cliffs: No, but...

You cannot move programs once they are installed.

You can right-click on the My Documents folder and move the location.
