I had 2 users on my XP installation; mine, and a "[email protected]" user for the [email protected] client. After doing an upgrade install of Vista, I auto logon my [email protected] desktop, but my normal desktop is gone. I have all the files in the "Users" directory, so I know Vista at least knows it existed. Logging out brought me to "Press CTRL + ALT + DEL to continue" and I could only get to the [email protected] logon.

I tried making a new user account with the same name, but it informs me that the name is already in use.
