A few days ago the sound just kinda 'went' on my system. All tunes sound slightly deformed versions of their former selves. Not only this but Media Player doesnt want to play any of the music on my system and is always trying to download a codec for playing films (but never successful, although the film plays anyway).

Any ideas?? Thanks. :tazz:

ps... does this have anything to do with the fact that windows update is repeatedly downloading and installing the same update for WM Player?
