hi
i have installed and thought i got rid off the following antivirus programs: norman, and avg 8.5 free. i recently bought a copy of kaspersky 2009 antivirus, when i try to install it the program wil install but never goes to the activation screen. i went to kaspersky website went to their tech support, they sent me an email with things to try i tried everything they said to try but nothing was working. their final suggestion was to use combofix, but i have read that this should be like a last resort. im ready for the last resort.i have tried malwarebytes but it installs but will not run.

i also have some other issues with my commputer. i often get an error message that says "*** is not a valid win32 application". also i cannot see any of my hard drives in disk manager. i have a 500 gb ide hdd a 40 gb slave hdd these two are both ide drives i also have a sata 500 gb hdd and a sata dvd burner. the burner shows up in disk manger but none of the hdd show up or are recognized in disk manager.

other then these three problems it seems to work fine. keyword seems to work.i am familiar with a computer and how they operate, i built this one myself if that has anything to do with it. i am running xp pro sp3

please help me correct my problems and get me running back on track.

thank you
john
