Tried to un-install Grisoft's AVG Home Edition. Will not complete un-install cycle.
Cannot remove by "Add/Remove Programs" either, nor RegCleaner. Have to uninstall causing difficulty with Avast Anti-Virus and Outlook Express.

You should never install 2 antivirus programs on the same system. Temporarily uninstall Avast AV. Now install AVG and you should be able to uninstall it straightaway, after which you can re-install Avast.

:) alas, I too had probs with AVG free edition. I experienced less than complete/graceful uninstall on a number of our systems, and we didn't have other anti-virus software installed :)

Suspect problems lies with avg, but given it was the free version, there was no technical support ;)

AVG might be good for nothing, but does seem to have a few blips - GOOD LUCK :tazz:

I managed to get it out. I ran "RegCleaner" focusing on Software List and then Uninstall List. Immediately AVG Uninstall appeared on screen. It finally uninstalled, but the Icon for AVG70free still remains on desktop with warnings not to delete it as it is a program and may cause problems with certain documents!!!!
I would liked to keep it, but conflict with my e-mail ensued.
