Hiya Guys & Girls
I have just bought a 3 Huawei E1550 Usb Modem. It works fine in my Mrs Mac Laptop, but not in my Dell Dimension E520 desktop...GUTTED. This is the machine i need it on. I have a funny feeling that a virus is probably blocking my usb ports from working properly. I have other devices plugged in that are fine, but i tried my brother huawei usb Modem & it was the same thing.

PLEASE HELP as Sky, BT & Virgin are all taking the michael jackson getting my line in my house.

Are the 2 different PC's in different locations?

The reason I ask is that my dad has this USB dongle and it works at his house but not nearby.

Although I check the malware route too.

It's not a connection prob...My PC can't find the drivers
