I have just recently upgraded to FF 1.0.4 and upon using it the web pages would not load. I disabled my Windows Security Center firewall and my personal firewall through Norton.

Firefox worked immediatley. I then narrowed it down to Symantec's Norton software. Apparently it will not allow me to load any web pages with the Norton firewall enabled.

Can anyone offer any suggestions? I have made sure to download the latest "Live Update" updates from Symantec and still no luck...

Dont use the firewall from Norton, I have physically worked on many customers computers, where Norton has caused interferance with some other operating programs.. Perhaps its just a freak thing, but I would at least keep the Microsoft firewall on. ever think about FREE anti-virus, instead of paying for it?

Good Luck
