New Laptop Wireless Issues

Okay, so I got a new Sony Vaio VGN-FW390J laptop recently and it's having troubles already. It says I'm connected to my network and that my signal is strong, but when I open my browser, no pages besides google and a few others will load. When I plug in my ethernet cable things work just fine, but I'm moving to college in a couple of days and I really want to get this issue resolved.
