I found your site through googling Aurora removal, and I want to thank in advance the people who take time to help deal with crap like this. I'll try to make this as quick and easy as possible for you.

So, I've searched the forums, and it seems like this is a common and hard to deal with problem, I've read through the "Must read" page, and run all the scans recommended, I already had all the programs but one, but I ran them again plus a few others, heres a list of what I ran, and the results;

Ad-Aware SE Professional (Full system scan) (removed some stuff, but apparently not Aurora)

Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta (Full system scan) (Nothing found)

Spyware Doctor (Trial version) (Full system scan) (removed some stuff, but apparently still not Aurora)

cwshredder (Nothing found)

CWShredder 1.59.1 (Nothing found)

Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.3 (Full system scan)

I also have Symantec Antivirus, and I update the definitions regularly.
I have Microsoft AntiSpyware set to run a full scan every morning at five.

I downloaded the trial version of "ewido security suite" after seeing it recommended on here, I ran it and it detected "ylsybeqlss.exe" (which I know Aurora is running under after opening the task manager when an Aurora pop-up window was open and selecting "go to process")

It also detects "Poller.exe" but I have no idea what that could be.

I have an old version of "Ace Utilities" which I have used in the past to manage what starts up when I log in, among other things, I've made sure everything is enabled, excluding of course things I've disabled and taken off the list in the past.

Heres my HijackThis log.

Thanks in advance again, and my computer is still running, so I'm not asking for any big rush on this.

(Edit) (looks like I also have Nail.exe I had my computer turned off, and when I turned it back on, ewido alerted me about it.)

Please download Nailfix from here:
http://www.noidea.us...050515010747824
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

For additional help in booting into Safe Mode, see the following site:
http://www.pchell.co.../safemode.shtml

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on Nailfix.cmd. Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Save the logfile from the scan.

Next please run HijackThis, click Scan, and check:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

Close all open windows except for HijackThis and click Fix Checked.

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log.
