I am using Vista Home Premium on an Acer Aspire 4720Z laptop. I have been trying to add songs to my daughter's MP3 player, which is an RCA Pearl. It connects to the laptop via USB port. In the past, I dragged the playlist that I wanted to add to the MP3 player to the "sync list" area of Windows Media Player 11 and click the Pearl to sync to the device. However, WMP is not recognizing that anything is connected. When I plug the MP3 player in, it lights up and says USB Connected. The pop up window opens for auto play options. However, the graphic area above the playlist on WMP says "connect device". Can anyone help?

Thanks!
