Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, greetings from Australia.

After a major crash and total loss of my O/P System I have sucsessfully reinstalled Windows XP. Because my HD has a C +D drive some Programs on the D drive are not functioning(File corrupted, missing, F/extention not Supported etc.).This Files and Programs amount to 9GB of storage and i like to delete them.As i check the Programs with the Explorer, no uninstall option is in any of the Games or other Programs and Files. Non of the Programs or files can be found under Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel or under Perfect Unistaller.

Can anybody offer some ideas

Many thank Dieter51

Hello dieter 51.... Welcome to GeeksToGo, :) :) :)

I'm sorry to hear about your issue. We will try to help you resolve this as soon as possible.
Please understand we are all volunteers and we are not here all the time. Sometimes it may be a extended amount of time to get back to you. If it has been more then 3 days please shoot me a PM and I will try to get back to you quickly then.

The reason they don't show up under Add\Remove programs is because of the new installation of the OS.
There is now no record of them ever being installed.
You can very simply delete the folder the files are in if they are games or programs.
Try this and see if you can find any reference to the files.

Download Revo Uninstaller
Install and then look for any reference to the above mentioned files.
If not then follow my previous suggestion or reinstall the programs\games back to the original folder on the [b]D[/] drive and then you should be able to uninstall them from there.
