I decided to delete some files from my (External Hard Disk Drive) connected to my computer, however whenever I click on the logo for my disk drive the file box would open up showing all the files then quickly disappear. A message then pops up that reads: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. Runtime Error. Program C:\Windows\explorer.exe. This application has requested the runtime to ternminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information. When I click the okay button the whole thing closes out and takes me right back to my computer desktop. FYI: I've tried everything from unpluging it, turning it off, disconnecting it, and still I keep getting this message whenever I try to open my external hard drive. Is there anything I can do to fix this without losing all the files I have stored on it. I'm lost right now and I have no ideal what to do.

Also: Whenever I download something or tranfer a file to my external hard drive it works fine, the only thing I'm having a problem with is opening the drive when I need to do something.
