I'm just frustrated and starting to think I've done something wrong here.

I came to geekstogo six days ago because I have a malware problem and was told people here are the experts. Since then I have noted a number (16+) views but no replies to my query.

I'm not sure what to expect...how long it takes people to react...if I've offered the best info on the situation...so I wait.

I welcome any suggestions! Thanks.

Hello, Bill_C2, and first of all, welcome to Geeks to Go!

While all of the malware staff here are experts, it tends to get quite busy in here, as you've undoubtedly noticed. That doesn't mean you've done something wrong; there are several reasons people might look at your problem but not take it on. For example, Helper A might feel more comfortable with a certain type of infection, while Helper B deals more with another one, etc. etc.

Generally, it does not take six days, though. There is a special Waiting Room forum you can post in if you've been waiting for over three days, to alert the experts. Then, you can count on getting prompt and proper assistance

Rest assured that you have not done anything wrong, but that we have unintentionally allowed you to "slip through the cracks". We try not to let that happen, but on a forum this large, it is difficult.

Once again, sorry that you had to wait, but we are an extremely busy forum! Cheers, and hope you get help soon!
