Cannot update Antivirus or access antivirus sites

Hi there,

I am not able to access any of the antivirus sites or update my Norton Antivirus 2009. I did run Spybot S&D 1.6.2 and cleaned up the infections it could identify. But the problem remains.

I have Windows XP with service pack 3.

Any help in getting out of this mess is appreciated.
