I have a site that I am trying to manage with cookies.

There are 2 directories on my site:
members
alumni
If I log in the Alumni Section and try to visit the Members directory, there is an issue.
<%if request.Cookies("user")("login") = True then
Session("logmein") = True
else
Response.Write(request.Cookies("user")("login"))
End if%>

When I use this on the page it prints the word "True" on the page.
Is the value somehow becoming text? If so why does the code work for False but not True? Thanks
