new found problem!! now I can't open ANY programs I did some research on the error message the source of my problem is a little thing called destote.exe and its associated with the rouge AV called windows police pro so I deleted windows police pro in program files and everywhere I could see it I also removed destote.exe and If I right click and run as administrator it works but I can only open programs not files and it also has infected my registry and instead of the debugger detected [97] message I get the "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.Create an association in the Set Associations control panel."message I did research on that and the virus messed up my .exe associations so is there any fix to this or is all hope gone?
