Had windows vista but reformatted and put Linux on it, I now want to go back to Vista and I put the disk and everything in and of course the drivers are gone. I've gone to the Acer website to download the drivers but the 'download' button doesn't work for any drivers, not sure if that's just the website messed up or what. Through the control panel it says that the driver is Broadcom but websites such as DriverRobot detected the wireless card to be Atheros. Each time I download the driver and try to install but it doesn't allow me it pops up with a message saying that a file path could not be verified and to check that I have permission to access it. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i'm tearing my hair out. :)

Sorry about this but it's fixed :) turns out all it needed was for me to update windows and it automatically updated the drivers.
