ok so I know this is posted all over the place but nothing is seeming to help my situation. I have gone to hps sight and I get little help. hp ended up sending me to Microsoft and again pretty much the same info and it didnt help. so for starters the computer is a hp pavillion dv6775us running vista operating system think 32 bit. 2 gigs ram and a 100 gig hd. I have ran hd diag and mem diag from the bios all tested good. I cannot boot into safe mode, command prompt, recovery for hp or windows, I ultamatly end up with the following Blue Screens:

Page_Fault_in_nonpaged_area ***stop: 0x00000050 (0xf8825c96, 0x00000001, 0x8d56f6a9, 0x00000002)

it says somthing to the effect of windows has shut down to prevent damage to computer if this is the first time youve recived this message restart computer.

so the hp site says that the issue was caused by a recent update from microsoft and to fix the issue boot computer (via F8) in safe mode. the issue is I press F8 and no matter what I choose I cant get into Safe mode. no windows, no Cmoss, no nothing but Blue screen. rrrrrrrggggggg. I have attempted to access the recovery partition of the hd but it wont load that sector. I get the same error code but its labled p somthing ramdrive. so ya. I attempted to boot with a cd but I got nothing it bypasses the cd boot and goes to the HD. I dont have recovery CDs but I do have Vista and Xp. I have important busniess info on this computer so I need to try an keep the info if possable.

ok so theory here If i took an external hd and pluged it up and booted off of that will I be able to access the Current HD to get my Client info? or is the HD toast. or am I getting ahead of myself? I Appreciate any advice I can get on this subject. let me know if there is any more info needed.

also Any one know what Microsoft is doing about all the machienes they may have damaged through this update? I think its crap a company like that to make an error like this.

If you have more than one RAM module installed, try starting computer with one RAM stick at a time.

ok so nothing new but this is what i have done. I pulled 1 stick of ram at a time, switched banks, tried the other stick, swithced banks, tried the ram in another computer (it worked fine) so its not te ram. now I also took the hd out of another comp and tried it I still get the Blue screen error as posted above so this error is not on th HD it is in the bord somewhere. Im gonna attempt to put the hd into another comp and see if i can get the info off of it at least. but id really like to save the comp if i can. any help is appreciated. I know this blue screen stuff is posted everywhere I just cant seem to get through it on my comp with the current info out there. anyways thanks.

so I talked to my cheif which is a IT tech for the navy and also works on computers on the outside. He sais that if changing out the hardware isnt solving the issue than there has to be somthing that screwd up the mother board I tested the theory and went and picked up a external hard drive case the hard drive booted fine as a external drive hooked up to my desk top. I scaned the hd for errors and it came up fine. I swaped the cpu out and still got a blue screen my chief says its a paper weight now so ya im stripping it and tossing it.
