MKV file problem

Hello all,

I am trying to convert my MKV file so that I can burn it using AVI2DVD. When I try to open up the file in AVI2DVD it gives me this "No combination of filters could be found to render the stream. ($80040218)" I don't know this means or what to do from here to make it work. Can someone please help me? I would greatly appreciate it.
