I have about 8 files I scanned and scanner saved them as JPEG. How can I convert them to a regular document so I can edit them? I found out today how to save them as a regular file but do not have the documents now so I can re-scan them and save them right. These files are just typed programs. Thanks bunches for any help. Might work:

Source formats accepted by Omniformat

Image to Document Converter

Maybe:

Free! Convert any media file format (Documents, Images, Audio, Video & Archives) without buying or installing anything on your PC

Google "optical character reader" (OCR). That's the software you need. My HP printer/scanner came withIRIS and it works great.
