I have a western digital external hard drive, and I have just noticed that most of my images jpeg and raw have suddenly disappeared, I put the image folders into directories for each year, you can see for example directory 2009 but there are either no sub folders and in some sub folders there are jpg or raw icons showing but there are zero bytes, I have told that the data is still there but I can't recover it.
I purchased a program called data rescue 2 but this was unable to recover the files, any suggestions please

kind regards
