Ugh! I'm so frustrated! I'm not that computer literate, but I know that I've got several trojans on my computer and I was going through the steps in the Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide. I completed the first step of TFC (temp file cleaner). When it rebooted, I tried to get into the control panel to change where the downloaded files were going, but then the desktop disappeared and only the background shows.

I restarted the computer via control alt delete and the desktop was still gone when it restarted. I want to keep going through the steps of the Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, but I don't even know how to get the desktop working again. Could someone please offer me some suggestions?

I'm using my laptop to type this, since I can't figure out how to do anything with the desktop.

Thank you!
