Hello computer help type people,

My network drops out after some heavy internet usage. If I pull the power on the router and reboot it, it seems to work again for a while but will soon drop out again requiring another rebooting. The drop out seems to happen faster if my wife uses her laptop at the same time.

Equipment:
Netgear ADSL2+ Modem DM111P v2
D-Link Wireless router DIR-300

Software:
Windows XP
Norton Internet Security 2006

I've had a D-Link wireless router/modem before and it had a similar problem. The modem seems to stay connected to the internet so I think it's a network problem.

Any help would be great. Thanks
