When I tried to run the recovery console, I got this stop code: 0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x891B7A08, 0xC0000102, 0x00000000).
Stop code booting normally is the same code as the recovery console.
I DID get to the HP recovery console and when I ran PC Doctor tests from it, it was fine (all tests passed). Am I correct in assuming that recovery is my only option, or is there a possiblity of saving the files on there?

When trying to boot from a Windows XP SP1 CD (Genuine) I get this stop code: STOP: Ox0000007B (0xF78D663C,0xC0000034, 0x00000000 0x00000000).

The OS is XP Media Center Edition, with all updates (SP3 included).

EDIT: I decided to just go ahead and reformat/reinstall. Disregard this topic.
