I have wm10 installed on both my pc and my laptop. The laptop used to play dvds but that may have been when it was wm9 but now suggests resolution too high and plays nothing. The pc now returns an 'unfortunately there is an error etc' message after installing the latest MS codec pack available or occasionally just plays the sound track. Both play mpegs ok. Should I uninstall and possibly re-install? If so, how? :tazz:

Click start then control panel then add / remove then tick show updates then select media player then remove / roll back, see if you can play the files with 9
