So.. if you take a look at my other post, it seems that Norton was the cause of my internet not working. But when i uninstalled it, then my computer really stopped good.

When i try to open up a program it either needs me to manually find the file or it doesnt let me open it.

examples:
Firefox - i needed to manually find the firefox exe file

iTunes,Skype, Microsoft Word - "Application not found"

'Set program access and defaults' under the START menu - "control.exe Application not found"

'Run' under start menu - asks me to manually find the cmd.exe file or whatever command i type in

many things under control panel - "C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe Application not found"

Any idea what is wrong and or what i can do? I cant restore, there are no restore points (i know, i know, i should have restore points, i know better now)

I scanned using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and it got rid of some trojans

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
