I need to explain to a client exactly why an iMac G3 is not suitable for running Windows
software. Any suggestions as to how I go about it?

Cheers,

I'd explain Apple has a proprietary system that is built from the ground up to run their software. This prevents Windows from running on Apple hardware, and visa-versa.

Windows and the PC architecture is open and allows for much more hardware and operating system flexibility.
