i cant recovery lost photos from my camera

i accienty deleted all my travel photos from my sony camera and then took 5 or 6 more photos is there any chance i can get them back pleas help they were from my travels around the world...

Throughout the forum there are references to PhotoRec being a very good program for this.
It is also free.
