mnadeem -- have you read my previous post? I don't want hijackthislogs, the only thing i want you to do is to follow my steps please.
I'm going to quote my post again:

Open notepad, copy and paste next content (bold) in it:

regsvr32 wuaueng.dll

reg query "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU" >>look.txt
reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU" >>look.txt
reg query "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\WindowsUpdate" >>look.txt
reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\WindowsUpdate" >>look.txt
reg query "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsFirewall\DomainProfile" >>look.txt
reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsFirewall\DomainProfile" >>look.txt
reg query "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsFirewall\StandardProfile" >>look.txt
reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsFirewall\StandardProfile" >>look.txt
notepad look.txt

Save this as look.bat ,choose to save as *all files and save it to your desktop.
Doubleclick on it. You'll get a prompt that wuaueng.dll is registred, click OK. Then it will scan further and notepad will open. If there is text in it, copy and paste that content in your next reply.

That are instructions I give you to perform.

Ok, download the attachement, unzip it and doubleclick on it.

What I want you to do next is, go to next site: http://www.kaspersky...oduct=161744315

Register there and perform the online scan. When the scan is finished, let it delete all the files that were found.
When it couldn't delete a file, please tell me WHAT file it is and in which FOLDER it is present.

Please do not perform any other steps than that.
I don't want any logs, I just want you to perform my steps.

Note: the scan can take really long, so please be patient.
I don't want you to perform any other scans.

Phrase to find: "Trojan.Win9x.FlashKiller"
Found: 1

Trojan.Win9x.FlashKiller
This trojan when run immediately erases data on the hard drive and destroys the Flash BIOS chip, if it is write-enabled. The trojan itself has Windows PE executable format and does work under Win95/98 only. To erase disk data and Flash BIOS the trojan uses a routine that is absolutely the same that...

What do you mean? Deleted everything? Are there now any viruses left?
I asked you before to write in your next reply the viruses kaspersky could NOT delete.
Also, I asked if you could tell me what the name of the file is that is infected. I don't want the name of the virus, but of the file and where it is present. Is it present in your windowsfolder, is it present in your system32-folder etc.
When it says now that all the viruses are deleted, then I only need a fresh hijackthislog as a final checkup and I'll give you my preventionspeech.

How is your mailprogram running now? If you still have problems with it, try this mailprogram: http://www.mozilla.o...ts/thunderbird/
Make sure you add the right settings in it according to your account and your password and mailserver.

Well, if it had delete all those files, that's good. Now post a new hijackthislog and tell me what problems you're still having now. If your computer is running much better now. :tazz:

Hi,

Check and fix next one in hijackthis again (seems like you forgot it the last time)

O9 - Extra button: Ebates - {6685509E-B47B-4f47-8E16-9A5F3A62F683} - file://C:\Program Files\Ebates_MoeMoneyMaker\Sy350\Tp350\scri350a.htm (file missing) (HKCU)

To keep this clean in the future, I would suggest the following things:

Install Spywareblaster
SpywareBlaster doesn`t scan and clean for so-called spyware, but prevents it from being installed in the first place. It blocks the popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage.

Avoid illegal sites, because that's where most malware is present.

Let your antispywarescanner(s) scan frequently and don't forget to update before.

And I do suggest you perform an online virusscan once in a while. (Kaspersky online and/or Bitdefender). Because what one virusscanner can't find another one maybe can.
Also make sure that your virusscanner, the one that is installed on your system is always up to date!

Make sure your windows has the latest updates: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

More info on how to prevent malware you can also find here (By Tony Klein)

Happy surfing again! :tazz:
