Hi,

I woke up this morning and turned on the computer. All worked fine. Checked some email, looked at internet, no problems. Went in the other room and heard the computer shut down and reboot itself as if it had installed some automatic updates or something (I didn't shut it down).

Now it won't start up again. It gives me an error message that says wininet.dll is not found so internet explorer can't run. When I close that error it gives me a message that bcmwltry.exe can't start because it too cannot find wininet.dll

I tried going in the task manager and telling it to close that bcwltry.exe but it will not close. It just pops back up and then gives the error message again.

I have the original disks that came with the computer but don't know what to do to fix this. I cann't get to the internet with that computer to download wininet.dll either.

I appreciate any help you can offer!
