Cant see pictures without having to click on them

as the title says, i cant see the pictures without having to clock on them. it does not do this with windows xp... how do i fix this?

my computer shows me this: http://i265.photobuc...seepictures.jpg

but i want it to be able to show me this so that i do not have to look at every single individual picture to see which is which: http://z.about.com/d...ingallery01.jpg

Click 'Views' and select medium or large view.

i was already in large view and i've just tried all other view options when clicking views and none of them display the picture without me having to click on them

Try this in the tools menu:

Tools > Folder Options > View

Uncheck "Always show icons, never thumbnails"

Let me know how that works.
