I've been at this all day the potential of this technology truly amazes me. The ability to run any application from high end games to office suites with next to no system resource use it's just awesome. I look at the current operating systems though and wonder if this new era of computing will usher in something entirely new. As a matter of fact I myself am ready to make the plunge right now into what I beleive the future of OS's will be a simple lightweight highly functional web browser. That's all you need O_O heck don't even allow my OS to be able to run any code outside of the web browser and browser plugins which should be the only things visible to the user. No more viruses or compatibility issues just finding the right sites that will run whatever software you need for you. Tasty. I'm going to list some of the stuff I've found today it would be awesome if people could add to the list and if anyone could tell me of an OS like I've described :) you will be forever in my gratitude.

Onlive
(unfortunatly not browser based but its two competitors are)

OTOY

Gaikai

******File Management music and so much more******

http://www.icloud.com/

Thats all I can remember right now :) but those two things alone are enough for me to dual boot a browser based OS.

Some sort of fungi would start growing on it, though...
