I have been recently reading nothing but horror stories about Windows Vista.

I have just recently purchased a new Laptop with VISTA Home basic pre-installed. The Laptop is a Toshiba L305-S5955 Model.

I have only so far only downloaded the Magentic Wallpaper which I had been using on a previous Laptop running Windows XP Pro.

I am now supposed to have 2 Gigs. of RAM, versus 1.25 in the older HP Laptop, & unless i disable it & set each Wallpaper manually, it (Vista) cannot handle more than 1 other program at the same time.

I was very confused at first as to why I was getting this WSOD & having to toggle manually to either change applications or to see the Desktop.

I have been using the Magentic Wallpapers for 2 years on Windows XP Pro. with 1.25 Gig. RAM & without the slightest problem.

So, as a result of all this I am very seriously considering whether to further up-grade this Vista bizness.
