Printer Does Not Print Every 4th or 5th Line of Text in Word

Hi,

This is driving me mad.

Basically, when I try to print a Word document or an Excel document, every 4th or 5th line (approximately)doesn't print correctly. It just prints part of the text with blank lines through it.

So far...
I have cleaned the heads and done ALL of the printer maintenance stuff many, many times.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and all associated software.
I've tried different ink cartridges.

At this point I must add that the problem only seems to be with black ink, I can print colour ok, even colour photocopies.

Someone please help.........I know its a cheap printer, but as its the only one I have I would like it to work properly.
