Hello everyone,

I just registered on this forum, in the hope you can help me with my problem. I play World of Warcraft almost every day without any problems. Now I get the following error:

This application has encountered a critical error:

ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
Program: E:\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:00421764

The instruction at "0x00421764" referenced memory at "0x0848F000".
The memory could not be "written".

Press OK to terminate the application

I have read it has something to do with (playing) AVI-files. The last time I played it, I did watch the four ingame cinematic movies, all AVI-files. That went well. Since then, I start the application and I get this error. I removed the files from its folder but that did not solve the problem. I have no idea what to do.

I hope you can provide me with a solution. Thank you in advance.
I also hope I posted this in the right forum.

PS: I run Windows XP
