Help Please.[RESOLVED]

Hi, I just got the Backdoor.Win32.Rbot.pd virus and it ran off of p2pnetwork.exe, This virus was BAD i mean it made a million fake files like regedit.com and so on. When i opened regedit from Run it opened that file. But I managed to delete them from DOS because they were very hidden. Even after I turned on Show Hidden Files and Folders. Anyway my anti virus killed most of it but I still have one file left netstat.com. When I look for it manually with Hidden files shown, it doesn't come up at all but when I go into Dos it says its there but when I try to delete it in DOS it can't find the file! And it keeps coming up. Its there just hidden well:

As you can see something is wrong. If you know of any program that can get it out besides an anit virus one please help. If you know how to delete it AT ALL please help! :tazz:

I have merged your topics in the correct forum.

*Click Here to download Killbox by Option^Explicit.
*Extract the program to your desktop and double-click on its folder, then double-click on Killbox.exe to start the program.
*In the killbox program, select the Delete on Reboot option.
*Copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:

Well The only file i have left on my computer is:

C:\Windows\System32\netstat.com

It doesn't show up in Winows even when I turn on hidden folders.

I've tried killbox but it can't find it.

I can see it in Dos when i'm in

C:\Windows\System32 dir /ah

That windows can't read or access. the attributes are SH and A HR for some reason. And when i type del netstat.com it says it can't find the file. :tazz:

Is there a program that can find and deletethem, Locate.com found them but doesn't remove them. my anti virus can't find it either.

Hi scone,

Use the Killbox by just copying and pasting the full path to the file in the dialog box.

It should remove the file if it exists as long as you use the "Delete on Reboot" option

I assume you have alread tried renaming and dropping the netstat.exe from the dllcache in the system32 folder as netstat.com

Thanks SO much I tried Killbox again and it WORKED. I must of typed the wrong directory last time and it couldn't find the file. But I did what you said and it deleted them!
