I would like to purchase a new laptop and would like your opinion on which one I should get. I am looking for a laptop that will last at least 3hrs on the battery and have some good performance. I was looking at the following:

Acer Aspire AS5810TZ-4429

MSI GX730-043US

Do you think the Acer laptop will be fast enough to be do basic tasks like word documents, internet browsing, watching movies without freezing up?

For the MSI laptop, how long would you think the battery would last for?

Thanks

They're both fine for what you want to do. For typing, internet, video on-demand you don't need a super-duper all singing and dancing setup.
The reviews state the Acer is slower though than the MSI, but the MSI is out of stock anyway.
