Buying PC with Monitor at Best Buy (Only DVI(With HDCP)

So I'll be getting a new PC and Monitor deal, possibly 22"
Its a good deal they have going on but these monitors either include no audio or crappy audio.
To the best of my knowledge with this new Playstation 3 update I can use an HD to DVI switch cable to connect my PS3 to my monitor, activate the Audio Multi-channel/Output option and have my component cable creating sound going through to my computer or my speakers?
