Using W98 … when I enter Start\Find and enter *.doc and a word, say, “apple” I get a listing of all my WORD files containing the word apple. And if I select View\Details I get additional information on each file, including its date. Good.

Now, is there a way I can view that listing with the files sorted by date?

Thanks.

Click on the word Modified at the top of that column to sort the files by date. Additionally if you know the date the file was created or modified you can search by that date using the date tab at the top of the Find files search box.
