such as viruses. Way before I was going to do a recovery I had decided to do this because it kept crashing and each time it got worse and was doing something different. I have done a recovery before and all I had to do was bring up the control panel and then click on the "vaio recovery wizard" icon and then the recovery process would begin. However, when I click on it nothing happens! I made a set of recovery discs(7)the last time I did this. I put disc 1 in the cd drive and started my computer and nothing happens. Meanwhile there are programs popping up right and left sayin that my computer has virses. I downloaded AVG and Advir and after I install them there is nothing to click on for the program to detect and remove the viruses. It is almost like the computer will not allow me to do a recovery or rid my computer of viruses! My Vaio is PCV-RS720G. Can anyone help me? Do you think that the computer is unfixable/fried?
