I have had experience with making webpages in html and css and was wanting to try making one in photoshop. But when i look up a tutorial on how to do this it always comes up with "how to make a website with photoshop and dreamweaver". So my question is, can you make a website in photoshop and just code it directly with html? Or do you have to use dreamweaver with it. Also if you know how to do this could you give me a quick description of how to do it? I can fill in the rest of the blanks lol. But if you want to give a more detailed explanation or a tutorial then that would me very very much appreciated.

I can make a webpage in html but it never looks so visually stunning like this http://lunia.ijji.com/

That website is not the best i have seen. All the ones i wanted to show are gone now. But i would like to make something similar to that.

Photoshop is a GRAPHIC editor. NOT a web editor. Dreamweaver is the web editor and both being from Adobe are integrated with each other in a lot of their functions. What is done in one can usually be exported/imported into the other with a few simple clicks.

Making the images, slicing them for the web and coding is not all that easy. Letting a program make and write your code is not going to make you a better web designer. You have to learn how to hand code this stuff from scratch. Once you do, you'll understand the use of the tools that make some jobs easier for you, but also do always get it quite right when they write the code. Dreamweaver has a code correction utility which helps, but you need to ALWAYS check your CSS and HTML at the w3c.org's validators.
