Hi everyone! I downloaded an installed IE 8 quite
easily and with no problems.

However, it came with unwanted items on my tool bar!

1) "Free Hotmail"
2) "My NetZero"
3) "NetZero on the Web"

How do I delete these? There's other things I'd much
rather have.

In fact if you can tell me how to add "gmail" to my
toolbar, that would be awesome! Right now I put a
search for gmail and then click to get to my email
several times a day.

So, I guess I'm posting 2 problems now. Just answer
whatever help you may have.

Thanks for any and all help! Pennie77

for the first question, right click on a grey area of the bar at the top of internet explorer and uncheck the "favorites bar" option

for the second...set gmail as a favorite...then just go to gmail when you like, or download google talk...it's a free chat program (you don't have to use it for chat) but it will also give you email notifications when you receive an email in your GMail account, or follow the instructions from GMAIL to connect outlook express and use that
