Hello, I am hoping someone could help me.
I guess this question is for someone who has a ASRock G31M-S LGA 775 mother board

I am connecting the board to a
Antec Two Hundred Black ATX Mid Tower
and can not seem to find where the "power led" connector goes (it is a 3 hole connector).
I have connected the other ones (i.e. usb, reset, hdd led, etc.) but don't know where this one goes.
Can someone please help.

I am anxious to put my new system together.

Thanks.

Hi mate,

Your manual is here:
http://download.asro...nual/G31M-S.pdf

Having a look at it, it seems the motherboard only has a two-hole connector for that plug. You'll have to leave it disconnected which simply means the power light won't show on the front of the case - this isn't a problem and won't cause any damage.

Yeah, page 22. ftp://174.142.97.10/manual/G31M-S.pdf

pled+ and pled-

Does your connector actually have three wires coming into it? Or are there just two wires? If two wires, can you position the connector to leave one pin off and have the correct + go in the appropriate pin and the correct - go in the correct pin? See?

Working with Antec cases, I usually find they have a 3-pin connector and the middle pin is empty...

So if you really wanted it to work, you'd have to manually adjust the pins.

Hi Eagle,
According to the Quick Installation Guide for the motherboard it is pins 2 and 4 of the system panel header.
Looking at the manual for your Antec case there is no 'power led' connector - just HDD LED, Power SW and Reset SW, and they are all two wire. If your power led is a two wire (and it should be as it is only a lamp circuit) in a three wire plug, go ahead and install it on pins 2 and 4. You may have to turn the plug 180 degrees for it to fit. Polarity does not matter with this circuit.
Enjoy your new build!
Regards,
Paul
