Following a successful fix by my very helpful friend Transcience on the Malware staff - http://www.geekstogo...on-t251003.html - I am unable to connect to any of the three routers I can normally access.

I was told this happens sometimes whem ComboFix is use, but the usual repair fix hasn't got me back online. I've been connecting by Ethernet up till now, but need my wifi back.

Can anyone help me put this right. Might it just be a question of reinstalling my Belkin driver?

Best wishes,
Nick

Can you still see the wireless networks? or are they not visible, if not as you suggest try re-installing your WiFi Card Drivers.
If you can't see any wireless networks either your WiFi card has been disabled or is switched off.

Thanks for your interest in this one JonnyAlpha..
When I try to refresh network list, I get told there are no wireless networks in range. So I guesss from that, I can't see a network. The lights on my Belkin Network adaptor flash away merrily however. In Network Tasks, it tells me that my Wireless Network Connection is 'Not Connected'. The Repair command is ineffective.
I'm going to reinstall my Wifi adaptor drivers - if I can find them..

Reinstalling the drivers has done the trick! That, followed by entering the security code for my Orange Livebox and all is well. Not as complicated as I thought it might be, so panic over..
