I recently returned from Iraq, booted up my computer, and now it won't connect to the internet =/ I talked to the guys at Gateway, and that told me to restore factory settings, I did that, it still doesn't work.

Any other computer [such as the laptop I'm on] can connect just fine to our modem.

The desktop recognizes the ethernet cord, flashes both lights in the jack, and connects me, but only to 'Local,' and it says Unidentified Network instead of 'Network #' that it normally shows.

I'm on Vista.

Thanks in advance!
Justin

Edit: Just updated the driver, no luck =[
Network Adapter is a Marvell Yukon 88E8039

Just purchased and installed a new network card. I got the same results. At least now I know it's not a hardware issue.

Anyone?

Resolved. Not sure why, but when I enabled the old network called it started working.
