Outlook Mail Problem

I have a few email accounts in Outlook but one of them will not send out mail, just sits in the outbox for this one account. All other accounts seem ok. This suddenly occurred after running some spyware, beforehand it was fine. I've checked (as far as I can with my limited knowledge) the settings in Outlook and they seem fine. Can someone suggest something I'm probably not doing to get this account to send.
